Ohio State Prevails; tougher questions remain

Yes, i was right about the outcome of the game...Ohio State won, 42-39, but i dont think the game was ever as close as the score might indicate.  Michigan was definetely outplayed, and only kept it close because of 3 Buckeye turnovers.

The biggest question remains: who shoud OSU play for the National Championship, come January 8?  The most likely remaining are: USC, Notre Dame, Arkansas, and Florida.  Many had undefeated Rutgers in the mix, but an upset loss to football powerhouse Cincinatti through them out of the scenario-- and left many people feeling the exact same way they always had about Rutgers-- they suck.

Much will be dependent on next Saturday's USC/Notre Dame match up, and Arkansas next game vs. LSU.

Troy Smith pretty much wrapped up the Heisman today, and as the biggest Notre Dame and Brady Quinn fan- Troy Smith i congratulate you on an excellent season (and i know he ll never read this).

Heres a few other photos i thot id include:

Watch ND again, and again...and again

Yea, so I really have no idea what I'm talking about when it comes to college football...or at least not as much as the "experts" do.  Here's a good, biased towards ND website:

www.nbcsports.com

Dont bother going to www.espn.com, they hate us, so does www.cbssportsline.com.

http://www.nbcsports.com/cfb_notredame/index.html

check those out...

and oh yea, brady quinn should win the hiesman over troy smith.  it doesnt matter whos team is better.

Michigan at Ohio State

SO i thought I'd write a little something up on what many people are calling "the biggest game of regular season history."  It certainly has those implications- whoever wins will get a chance to play for a national championship, whoever loses most likely wont.  And thats what makes it so interesting.  Some people want a rematch of this game if it is close, for the National Title game.  That most certainly should not happen.  Ironically, i am rooting for Michigan- for the first time in my life.  But, in my most objective manner, i would choose Ohio St. to win, 31-17.

Notre Dame has an outside chance to get into the National Title game, with a little help.  A big win over USC in a few weeks and some SEC drama would be huge, plus Ohio State needs to womp Michigan on Saturday.

Does anyone remember this, the other "game of the century"?  Let's just see if OSU/Michigan can live up to the hype.
